The Delaware Valley/Greater Philadelphia XML Users' Group
was founded in December of 2004, and the first meeting was
held on February 9th, 2005. Membership in this group is
free.
Our mission is to provide a forum that encourages
development of professional relationships and the exchange
of knowledge and ideas related to the use of XML and related
standards and technologies in a variety of business
applications and industries.
This is an effort
bootstrapped by a few individuals and not funded by dues or
sponsorships. Membership is free and open to individuals
representing themselves or their employers. The primary
interest of the Group is XML for publishing, but the future
of the Group will be shaped by its participants. All XML
applications will be open for discussion based on the
evolving interest of its members.
